Events for patrons of all ages happen year long at Peninsula Community Library.

Book clubs and story hours as well as varied programming appeal to patrons and guests of all ages! 

Pageturners, a book club for adults, meets the third Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. 

Story Stew, our preschool story hour, happens EVERY Thursdays of the month at 10 a.m. On the fourth Thursday, all children attending Story Stew will receive one free book thanks to our collaboration with Born to Read. You can learn more about Born to Read at 

Our certified Reading Dog Coco listens to children read on Wednesdays from 9am until noon.  Call for an appointment.  

Chapter Chicks, our Mother Daughter Book Club for girls meets every other month to share discussion, food and a related craft.  Books are chosen for the discussion value and are geared toward a 3rd-5th grade reading level.  However, girls of all ages are welcome to participate.  

Our Threads group meets every Monday at 10 a.m.  Bring along whatever fiber art interests you - needlepoint, knitting, quilting, etc. - and work among friends!
